The realisation that we are all the sum of our experiences, thus any creative task that we carry out will have an authenticity that might seem too raw or new. Maybe it might not do exactly what convention dictates. Tricky position for artists to be in.

I felt as though I was at the proverbial 'Y junction', where I had to follow convention and compromise who I was becoming, or continue on the journey of self actualisation that I have been in for like a decade plus. This was an easy one (Insert smiley smiley here)
